More Fun Playing With Thai Flavors at Bangkok Thai

Great new news about my favorite Cleveland-area Thai restaurant, Bangkok Thai, 5359 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst OH (440) 684-1982. First - they are now open for lunch on Monday. Second - they now have a beer and wine license.

I discovered the license when I lunched there in November; I lunched there again today and learned about the Monday opening.

Bangkok Thai continues to deliver consistently wonderful food. Here are those last two lunches.

Chicken Pad Ped

Chicken, Galingales, Lime Leaves, Eggplant, Bell Peppers, String Beans, Baby Corn, Basil.

Masaman Curry With Tofu

The artfully cut potatoes and butternut squash rounds stood out with flavor and texture, together with onion, peppers, scallion, carrots, peanuts and lime juice. A beautiful dish.

Bangkok in Love

Crispy chicken wearing the most delicate coating, topped with peanut sauce and scallions on a bed of lettuce.

Choo Chee Curry with Pork

This gravy was plate-licking good, dressing fresh pineapple, green peas, carrots, bell peppers, eggplant, basil, lime leaves, and summer squashes - and where did they find a tomato that sweet in the middle of December??

Bangkok Thai remains highly recommended for playing with Thai food.

  1. These recipes are for people who like true Thai flavors. I have tried warm and creamy Masaman curry with tofu at my friend's birthday party. It's full of fresh veggies and tofu cooked to just right texture.
